A cinematic documentary following former 22 SAS operator Krishna Thapa through the Himalayas of Nepal, exploring the philosophy, rituals, and inner discipline behind the Warrior Monk retreat. Built around real conversations, ancient traditions, and immersive observational filmmaking, the film became both a deeply personal character study and a powerful piece of brand storytelling for the retreat experience.
The challenge wasn't making another "wellness retreat video." It was capturing something that felt believable Most retreat marketing falls into the same trap: over-produced drone shots, scripted transformation moments, vague spirituality, polished promises. Audiences can feel the performance immediately. We told the story of one of the most operationally deployed soldiers in SAS history, shaped by war, grief, discipline, and ancient Himalayan traditions, and how Krishna Thapa turned his experice into a retreat so that everyone can experiece and learn from this knoledge. The real challenge was translating that depth into a film that felt emotionally grounded without turning it into corporate theatre.
Instead of building the film around marketing claims, we built it around human truth. We travelled through Nepal with Krishna, documenting his return to the landscapes, rituals, and philosophies that shaped him. The documentary followed the structure of the five elements central to the Warrior Monk philosophy: fire, earth, water, air, and space - as emotional anchors throughout the film. Rather than selling the retreat directly, the film allowed audiences to emotionally experience its worldview, working simultaneously as a prestige brand film, a founder story, a philosophical exploration, and a trust-building asset.
"The film didn't feel like marketing. It felt like entering someone's world properly, which is exactly why people connected with it."
We sat down with Ben Francis, the founder of Gymshark, to tell the story of how a teenager coding websites in his parents' garage built one of the most iconic fitness brands the world has ever seen. A film about obsession, discipline, and what it really takes to build something that lasts.
Tu Lam, a Special Operations veteran and founder of Ronin Tactics, carries the kind of story that demands a film. We followed the man behind the brand into the philosophy that drives him: a warrior's code translated into business, family, and purpose. Fame found him. This film explains why.
Retired Navy Commander, saturation diver, Joe Dituri (aka. Dr. Deep Sea), is a man who turned a traumatic brain injury into a masterclass in human resilience. Now, Joe is translating that survival grit into a future of longevity, integrating HPO Tech as the cornerstone of his recovery mission.
